A: AmeriPlan® is a nationwide Discount Medical Organization. We arrange for our members to have access to dental, vision, prescription drug and chiropractic providers who have agreed to offer their services at negotiated discounts off their usual and customary fees.
AmeriPlan® is a member of the National Association of Dental Plans, the United States Chamber of Commerce, Dun & Bradstreet, the Direct Selling Association and the Consumer Health Alliance.
Q: What is AmeriPlan Dental® Care?
A: AmeriPlan Dental® Care is a discount plan wherein members may save 25% to 65% on all restorative and cosmetic work (fillings, crowns, braces, etc.) and up to 80% on preventative work (teeth cleaning, x-rays, etc.) performed by a general dentist. Specialist fees are discounted 20 to 25%.
Since the dental program is not insurance or a health organization, all ongoing dental problems are accepted except orthodontic treatment in progress. There are immediate savings, no paperwork to fill out and no limits on your visits to the dentist.
The reason so many dentists love AmeriPlan® is that it saves them the cost and delays of having to deal with insurance companies. They pass a large part of these savings on to YOU in the form of discounts.

Q: What if I want to go to a specific dentist not within your network?
A: Plan discounts are only available when you see one of our 30,000 dentists. You may refer your dentist to join the AmeriPlan® network. In your new member kit will be a card to use to refer your dentist to us. Our staff will contact the dentist and attempt to add them to our provider list.
Q: How much is the dental plan membership fee and what does it cost to sign up?
A: There is a one-time registration fee of $20. Membership is $19.95 per month. Membership includes all permanent residents in the household -- whether parents, children, relatives, significant others, or friends. Your Dental Plan membership fee includes you in the Prescription Drug, Vision and Chiropractic plans at no additional cost.
Q: Is there a guarantee of satisfaction?
A: Yes. If you are not satisfied within the first 30 days of becoming a member, you may cancel your membership in writing by mail to 5700 Democracy Drive, Plano, Texas 75024, fax to (469) 229-4595 or email to stop@stopmembership.com. Your membership fee will be refunded. No hassle. Please understand that the one-time administrative fee and money paid for healthcare services and products are not refundable. After 30 days membership fees are not-refundable. You may cancel your membership at any time upon written request to AmeriPlan®.

A: These plans are included with the Dental Plan Membership at no additional cost.

A: There are more than 30,000 dental providers, 50,000 pharmacies, 12,000 vision care providers and 7,500 chiropractors contracted to our plan. Your membership welcome package will contain a directory of the providers in your area. You can also check online for providers by clicking here.
Q: Will I be sent a membership information package?
A: Yes. Within 10 to 14 days of receipt of your application in Plano, you will receive a Membership Information Guide, Membership Identification Cards, and a Dental, Pharmacy, Vision and Chiropractic Care Directory.

A: A toll-free members' support hotline staffed with customer service representatives ready to help you is available for extended hours Monday through Friday.
Q: Do I have to remain a member for a certain amount of time?
A: No. Your membership can be cancelled at any time. The majority of our members keep their plans for years because of the savings and service they receive. However, you are free to discontinue your membership at any time should you decide that is best for you.
